An Answer to “Sexual UnIntelligence” on Sarah Palin’s Family

I was going to talk about the choice of Sarah Palin today, but when I saw WordPress had an so-called open letter to Sarah Palin, which was more a slam against her, and the Republican ticket, I felt it necessary to respond to it instead. First, I found the title of the Blog funny, since the writer missed everything we have said or thought about Sarah and her family. We have always embraced any woman or girl who picks life over murdering their baby to make their life more convenient. We do not embrace nor encourage the actions that brought her daughter to this place, but we support life above all else. If you truly took the time to understand the pro-life movement, you would understand that this is not a change in our stand, it is what it has always been about, and that is LIFE!

The reason we don’t support these so-called “Sexual Education” programs, it is because they actually teach children it is acceptable behavior for them to have sex before marriage, when we are trying to give them values to live by and teach them to hold off and wait until they are more mature before they reach this decision, which everyone knows is by far the best choice of all. Having sex before marriage is never a good option, and results in many problems and is still illegal behavior! Why should we support programs that teach our children to violate the law? That is like have a drug program that teaches them the right way to pick needles to inject the illegal drugs into their system, instead of simply telling them to just say “no” to drugs.

The one thing that has always amazed me about how the Democrats work, is they create these bills to put through the system, that on the surface might claim they are going to “give day care for poor people” and then when you dig into them, they actually have aspects that are going to test the DNA of polar bears, or something else we can live without and will eventually cost us billions in pork barrel spending. They know we as Republicans will vote against these bills, and then they tell the public we don’t want day care for poor people, when in fact, we would be glad to see that, if it where the only thing in the bill. I suggest everyone take the time to understand why they vote against this things, and don’t accept the claims of the Dems when they make these foolish claims.

No matter how much you wish on your lucky star, the fact that abortions are unsafe and many times a poorly handle procedure, will never cease to be true. I know people such as yourself would like the only claims on abortion to line up with your beliefs, but the facts don’t support that. The facts actually show they are unsafe, and are a threat to the health of the woman, and are in fact murdering an innocent life. There is nothing good about then, and they should never be made to be any less than the truth of what they are. If your convenience is more important than the life you are ending, then an abortion is for you. My mother had to sign a waiver to have me, and risked her own life to give me mine. So I have no place for someone who chooses a child’s death to protect their own. The doctors wanted to abort me, and my parents chose life, my life. Sometimes we must risk our own life to protect or give life to an innocent, and that is the noblest sacrifice of all. Fortunately, my mother survived, and lived a good life, even though the doctors said she wouldn’t live beyond that day.

Yes, we will always support life, and that is something we have always, and will always continue to support. There is no change in our policy, only your understanding of that policy. Somehow I doubt my answer to you will make the front page of WordPress, but hopefully some people will see it and this knowledge will get out to the public anyway. We have always celebrated life, wherever it is found. We don’t like to see teens getting pregnant, and I question anyone that sees that as good for our society. It is better that they learn the lessons taught by these situations, that teen parents have it tough in most cases. In most cases, the male involved takes off and doesn’t take responsibility for his actions, leaving the girl, and usually her parents, to raise the child on their own. But it is the right choice to keep the child, or at least put him or her up for adoption. There are thousands of people out there, like my wife and I, that would welcome the child into their home. I think the bigger lesson that Sarah Palin gives us is in the fact that she decided to keep her last child, who was diagnosed with Downs Syndrome, when many parents would have aborted him, like people such as yourself would have her do as well. I think we all should take a page from Sarah Palin’s book, and choose life above all else.
