Who’s Questioning Patriotism Now?

I find it ironic that the same people who were up in arms over the topic of patriotism being question a few weeks ago, is now saying the a person is not patriotic if I don’t want to pay more taxes. A few weeks ago, Obama said a person’s patriotism should never be questioned, yet just yesterday, his running mate questioned our commitment to this country if we weren’t interested in having our hard earned money taken in higher quantities to be redistributed to whoever the democrats think should have it. Being the person who actually earned it, I should be the only one deserving those dollars. Why should I want to give more money to the most irresponsible Congress in the history of this country?

Maybe if I knew the money would truly be used for the common good of this country, and not just a means to buy more votes, I would have a different opinion. If the programs they were promoting were feasible, or showed some promise of a better day for the nation as a whole, not just a select group, I might feel differently about this. But until Congress gets something worthwhile passed, which they haven’t done in recent memory, I would rather keep my own money, and do what I know is best for me and my neighbors.

On top of this, Obama does nothing more than complain about McCain, aside from promising to raise taxes, and has yet to put forward a single plan that doesn’t have more holes than a block of Swiss cheese. If you look closely at his ideas, you would see the glaring flaws in them. But those that support him seem to have no concern about this little problem. They follow him like he is the new Messiah, and never once question him about what he is going to do and how he plans to make it work. The closest I have seen to this is when he was interviewed by Bill O’Reilly on FOX News, and he was only able to cover just a few subjects, and Obama stumbled and stammered his way through the whole interview. He didn’t know what to do with himself, since he had never had to answer the hard questions before. It was hilarious watching him try to get Bill to back off, and I have no doubt he regretted ever agreeing to the interview.

I find it hard to believe that so many people are following this man without seeing the serious damage Obama will do to this country, unless that is what they want. I do know there are those people that would like to see our country destroy itself, and they are all supporting Obama, and are hoping to get enough people behind them as well that won’t ask questions, but will simply follow them over the cliff’s edge. I hope my readers will take the time to see the problems that are there, and will step up and support the only candidate that will give our country the right kind of change, and that person is John McCain. I don’t completely support Mr. McCain, but I feel he is most definitely the lesser of two evils. He will do some good, and most importantly less harm, to our beloved country.
