About Parrot Hut

Parrot Hut has been my goal for a couple of years now. To start, we will focus our time and efforts on producing strong, educational programs in the form of a weekly podcast. If time permits, we may expand the number of podcasts we come out with each month. We hope to keep the show free, allowing anyone that wants to listen a chance to hear the entire program for no fixed costs. But if we are to continue offering the full podcast to all, we need the support of our listeners. We will need the audience to participate by sending in questions, comments, and suggestions, as well as those willing to be member supporters of the podcast. If we have the right mix, Parrot Hut will continue to build and grow.

We hope to expand in time, when we are able, and open an online shop for our listeners. We believe that we can supply the monthly needs of our fellow bird companions at a lower price than what is currently available on and offline. If the community responds well to this aspect of the site, it will not only fund the podcast, but it will provide a low cost alternative to most bird shops and pet shops most of us deal with today. Unfortunately, the current economic situation this country is faced with has severely disabled our ability to acquire the financing for the shop. We have decided to move forward with podcast, as the need for it is now, and wait on the shop until we are able to find financing for it in the future.

One day, Parrot Hut will be a one-stop shop for all things for your bird. We look forward to that day, and will work hard to provide the news, information and education that our listeners want to hear each week from our podcast.
